3. Client Inquiries & Communication

A formal working relationship is only established once:

A proposal, contract, or agreement has been accepted
Required payments or deposits have been made
Both parties agree to the project scope

We reserve the right to decline projects at our discretion.

4. Payments & Deposits

For design and branding services:

Projects under $2,000 generally require full payment upfront before work begins.
Projects over $2,000 typically require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due prior to final file delivery.

Late payments may result in:

Delayed project timelines
Suspension of work
Withholding of deliverables until payment is received

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoices are due upon receipt.

5. Revisions & Scope Changes

Project proposals include a defined scope of work. Additional revisions, deliverables, or expanded creative directions outside the approved scope may incur additional charges.

Burnes Studio reserves the right to determine whether requested changes constitute scope expansion.

6. Turnaround Times

Estimated timelines are provided as general projections and may vary depending on:

Client response times
Feedback delays
Project complexity
Revision requests
External approvals

Burnes Studio is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, delayed approvals, or circumstances outside of our control.

7. Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of branding and design services:

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
Payments for completed work, delivered concepts, strategy, or consultation services are non-refundable.

If a project is canceled by the client after work has started, Burnes Studio reserves the right to invoice for work completed up to the cancellation date.

8. Portfolio & Promotional Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Burnes Studio reserves the right to display completed or publicly launched work in:

Portfolios
Social media
Presentations
Marketing materials
Award submissions

Confidential or unreleased projects will be respected when requested in writing.

9. Third-Party Links & Services
